Ivey Dean Carol Stephenson was one of two business leaders named today to be inducted into the 2012 Junior Achievement London and District Business Hall of Fame.
Stephenson and Paul Cocker, President and CEO of McKay-Cocker Construction Limited, will be honoured for their contributions to business, entrepreneurship and philanthropy at the 22nd Annual London and District Business Hall of Fame Induction Gala Dinner on October 25 at the London Convention Centre.
Citing her history in the London area, including nine years as Dean of the Richard Ivey School of Business, Stephenson said London is close to her heart and it’s an honour to be among the London-area business leaders who are previous inductees.
“It is a real privilege to be recognized by Junior Achievement and the London Business Hall of Fame,” said Stephenson. “London is truly a city and region which embraces an entrepreneurial spirit, and I’m humbled to be mentioned in the same breath as the past inductees.”
The gala dinner will showcase the achievements of the inductees.
